Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for an affordable, large capacity blender for home use.

Pros:

• The powerful 600-watt motor gives plenty of oomph to power the stainless-steel blades to blend produce smoothly and efficiently without problem. It does particularly well at crushing ice whereas other blenders can often stall.
• 5 Speed settings are provided so you can blend at a high or low speed depending on your individual needs for the best possible results.
• The glass pitcher has a large 56 oz capacity so you can blend drinks for the whole family without the hassle of swapping the pitcher. The sealed lid design lets you seal the lid easily so there is no mess made. The spout features an easy pour design which allows you to pour out liquid without creating a mess on your worktop. Also, the pitcher is dishwasher-safe so cleaning up is a cinch if you have a dishwasher.

Cons:

• The blade assembly and base features two seals opposed to just one, so clean-up takes slightly longer than other blenders although the difference is minimal.

Value for money?

From a value perspective, this Frigidaire blender comes out on top. It’s powerful motor, good build quality and smart design makes it terrific value. The inclusion of a glass container opposed to plastic is also something which pleased us.
