Be Ready with the B-Agile

The Britax B-Agile is a lightweight stroller which sports an eye catching three-wheel design and lightweight aluminium frame. The extra large canopy further defines its unique characteristic appearance and provides outstanding coverage to protect your child from the sun. The mesh window on the canopy is a great touch, allowing you to ventilate the seating area on hot days so your child remains cool.

Top class manoeuvrability is the main reason why the B-Agile got its name. Even when a 35 lbs toddler is in the seat, the stroller can move at a brisk pace with just a one-handed push. At the rear of the stroller are two 9 ½” wheels and at the front is a 5 ½” swivel wheel which is lockable to provide extra stability when strolling on rougher surfaces.

Room to Grow

Your child won’t outgrow the B-Agile in their early years due to its spacious seat. With a 14-inch width and a 20-inch seatback plus an enormous 55-lbs weight capacity, the stroller can comfortably accommodate your little one well into their infant years.

Lie back and relax

The seat recline feature is very flexible, giving you a choice of three seating positions at just the pull of a strap at the back of the seat, so you’re child can sit upright or lie all the way back for a nap in the deep reclined position.

Quick Folding

The one-hand fold function is very simple to use and enables you to fold up the B-Agile in a matter of seconds. The folding process just involves pressing a button on the frame and pulling the strap in the seating area then the stroller collapses to a nice compact size. An automatic chassis lock is also included so the stroller will keep locked once folded without requiring any manual locking on your part.

Safety

Britax always puts a lot of emphasis on safety with their baby equipment and the same is true here. A high quality 5-point padded safety harness is attached to the seat complete with an easy adjustable strap height to accommodate your child as they grow older. The tough to open buckle is also an added safety measure so the harness will remain firmly in position.

Storage

Considering the size of the B-Agile, the storage options are very good. The medium-sized under storage basket is sizable enough to accommodate small baby gear such as soft toys or diapers. At the rear of the stroller there is a really nice large zippered pouch that is very handy for having convenient access to those important baby items that you need on the go.

Car Seat

This travel system includes two Click & Go car seat adapters so the B-Agile is compatible out of the box with both Britax’s B-Safe and Chaperone car seats. Additionally, it’s also compatible with certain other major car seat brands by using an optional universal car seat adapter.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

Modern sleek looks, lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, easy to use, great large canopy, comfortable car seat, the B-Agile Travel System proves to be the ultimate travel system for the growing family.

Plenty of optional accessories are available from a travel bag to a cup holder, so every little need is catered for.

Cons:

There aren’t many downsides to this travel system, but we found that the storage basket is rather small so you can’t fit things such as a full size diaper bag down there. Also, accessories need to be bought separately if you want a child snack tray or cup holder.

Final Thoughts

We did have high hopes before reviewing the B-Agile Travel System based on Britax’s reputation, but they honestly have been surpassed. With so much room and so many incredible features, this travel system is an outstanding choice for families who need a great compact stroller and also a way to transport their child over longer distances without waking them up.
